Changed Holiday Again

They did it again, changing holidays' date as they feel convenient having holidays on the first working day of the week or on the last day of the week. Anyway it's just an observation on my part and a little perflexed why they're always doing it. For me special historical occasions need not changed as you can't feel also the relevance and spirit of the holiday like this one. Independence day should be commemorated on the exact date and not on the rescheduled date, don't you think so? Just a thought - how about New Year?
